"I would lean heavily towards the idea of stewarding a group of ADA devs to connect and support IT needs across nonprofits and small/micro businesses so that: we are not literally developing in silos; we promote resource sharing with infrastructure solutions that alleviate human resource and financial constraints for already-overburdened communities; and most importantly we are cultivating a safe learning and working environment for grads to thrive and strengthen ties in community-based orgs and businesses." - Jan
INARAMID is a for-profit company that contracts with nonprofits and small businesses to provide the ongoing technical support they can't build internally. You staff it with Ada Developers Academy graduates who get real, community-based work experience — not corporate busy work, not portfolio filler, but actual infrastructure that organizations depend on. And the funding comes from a combination of direct client revenue, workforce development grants, and corporate partnerships. This isn't a nonprofit model. It's not a volunteer program. It's a business — your business — that happens to solve a massive gap in the social sector.
Every year, thousands of engineers show up at social impact hackathons. They build brilliant tools for nonprofits over a weekend. By Monday, they go back to their day jobs. The nonprofit is left with software they can't host, update, or fix. The code dies.
INARAMID solves that. Your Ada cohort doesn't just participate in the hackathon — they adopt the resulting tech. They provide the ongoing security, hosting, and maintenance so the tools actually survive. That's a service worth paying for, and there are organizations willing to fund it.

In conjunction with OpenAI’s office opening in Bellevue, Washington, OpenAI is teaming up with the City of Bellevue, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and Washington SBDC to host a Small Business AI Jam on Friday, March 6th.
The Jam is an in-person, hands-on workshop that helps small business leaders learn practical ways to use ChatGPT in their day-to-day work–from writing marketing copy and organizing schedules to handling customer messages or bookkeeping.
Building on successes of OpenAI’s Small Business Jam in November 2025 across 5 cities, we will convene the business community in Bellevue to spend the day learning side-by-side with ChatGPT mentors, with support from community partners and local leaders. By the end of the day, small business owners will walk away with at least one ready-to-use AI solution tailored to your business.
